Does not use remote code — all logic is bundled locally

Permissions Explained

Permission	Why It's Needed
`storage`	To save your calculation history (last 20 entries) and preferences (currency, VAT rate, decimal places) locally on your device using `chrome.storage.local`. This data never leaves your device.

No other permissions are requested. The extension does not use activeTab, scripting, tabs, or any host permissions.

Data Storage

Calculation history: up to 20 recent calculations stored locally
User preferences: currency symbol, default VAT rate, decimal places, history on/off
All data is stored only in chrome.storage.local on your own device
No data is ever transmitted to any server

Data Deletion

Open the extension → go to 🕘 History tab → click "🗑 Clear History" to delete all saved calculations
Or go to chrome://extensions/ → find the extension → click "Details" → "Clear data"
Uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored data automatically

Remote Code

No. The extension does not execute any remote code. All JavaScript is bundled within the extension package and runs entirely locally in your browser.

Children's Privacy

This extension does not collect any information from any users, including children under 13. It is a simple calculation tool with no user accounts or data collection.
