Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the eProcure CV Auto-Fill Chrome Extension ("the Extension") handles your information. The Extension auto-fills Form 3B (Curriculum Vitae of the Applicant) on Bangladesh's e-GP procurement portal at eprocure.gov.bd.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the Extension stores, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.

The Extension stores the following data locally on your device only, using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API:

• CV profile data you enter manually (name, position, nationality, education, training, employment, work history, languages)
• Number of form fills used (for Free plan limit enforcement)
• License key activation status (Free or Premium)
• Your selected profile name

The Extension does not collect:

• Browsing history or activity on any website
• Cookies or session data
• IP address or location data
• Device identifiers or fingerprints
• Any data from websites other than eprocure.gov.bd
• Payment or financial information

The Extension requests the following Chrome permissions. Each is required for core functionality only:

Your locally stored CV data is used only for the following purposes:

• Auto-filling Form 3B fields on eprocure.gov.bd when you click "Fill Form Now"
• Displaying your saved profile in the extension popup for review and editing
• Counting free-plan form fills to enforce the Free plan limit
• Verifying your license key to activate Premium features (done offline — no server call)

Your data is never used for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any purpose beyond filling your form.

We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer your data to any third party under any circumstances. The Extension does not integrate with any analytics, advertising, or tracking service.

All data is stored using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API, which means it is:

• Stored entirely on your local device
• Accessible only to this Extension — no other extension or website can read it
• Automatically and permanently deleted when you uninstall the Extension
• Not synced to Google's cloud servers (we use local storage, not sync storage)

We recommend using the Export Backup feature (Premium) to save a copy of your CV data before uninstalling, as all data is permanently deleted on uninstall.

You have full control over your data at all times:

• View — Open the Extension popup and review all saved data in Personal and Sections tabs
• Edit — Update any field directly in the popup at any time
• Delete a profile — Use the 🗑 button next to any profile name
• Export — Use the Backup tab (Premium) to download a .json copy of all your profiles
• Delete all data — Uninstall the Extension to permanently erase all stored data

Since all data is stored locally and we have no server, there is no account to delete and no data request process needed — your data is entirely under your own control.

This Extension is intended for professional consultants, engineers, and procurement specialists. It is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the "Effective Date" at the top will be updated, and significant changes will be noted in the Chrome Web Store update description. Continued use of the Extension after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. This Extension complies with the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies and Google's User Data Policy.

This Extension is independently developed and is not affiliated with CPTU, BPPA, or the Government of Bangladesh.
